WHAC also won the junior women's race easily, although Pheobe McKnight from Hutt Valley began the race with a very impressive 14:21 for fastest lap of the day - over half a minute faster than any of the senior women running.

Scottish won the senior men's race comfortably too, although Nathan Tse continued his strong early season form getting WHAC off an early lead with fastest equal lap (13:10).

Scottish's second lap runner, Hiro Tanimoto, was also equal fastest on the day, putting Scottish into a lead that it did not relinquish for the remainder of the race.
