It was a dull windy day at Karori Park for the 38th running of this event, but at least the rain stayed away.  Event organiser Don Dalgliesh reported that 372 competitors made up 2 teams from 15 colleges.

This included 3 teams from Wanganui Collegiate School brought down by Alec McNab who appreciates the value of giving his athletes some race competition before the National Secondary Schools champs at the end of June.

Phoebe McKnight (Hutt Valley High School) set the only new record, in the Year-9 Girls grade with a time of 7:29 (over the 2k lap).
