2014 Black Programme Newtown Park Sat 29 Nov


Results


There was a reasonably good turnout considering the time of the year and the breezy conditions.  There were big fields in the 800m, used as a final time trial for those heading to next week’s Secondary Schools track and field champs in Wanganui.  In the sprints Terry Collins-Hawkins (Hill City) had a good day grabbing wins in the 100m and 200m in 11.13 and 22.62 respectively.  I suspect there could be some interesting battles ahead between the local sprinters with an eye to the Nationals in the New Year.
