Results
This is meeting 3 of the 4 meet series with one more Friday
to go. There seemed to be continuing good
support from the schools especially St Pat’s Silverstream, Newlands College, Rongotai College and
Wellington High School. I was a bit surprised by the low numbers from Scots and
Wellington College given they generally are strong in athletics. Perhaps exams are
having an impact at this time of the year.
I have put a lot more photos up this week mainly because the
100m hurdles was on the menu and you can guarantee that no two shots will be
the same. Events on the programme this week were 100m Hurdles, Discus, Triple/Long Jump, 2000m, 400m and the 4x100m Relay.
